In this class Nicole will teach you how to use Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 design Spilt Rect and V Block Tool to create the blocks that mimic stars and strips in this beautiful patriotic quilt. You will be shocked at the ease of creating precision points when using these tools.
Size: 55”x67” or 69”x87”

Fabrics of choice
*Please follow the fabric requirements located on the back of the pattern. You may choose either project size
Studio 180 Design Tools:
V Block
Split Rect
Basic Supplies:
Invisi-Grip (Please apply to the back of each of your rulers prior to class)
4 Paper Plates
Rotary Cutter
Cutting Mat
Travel Iron and Pressing Mat/Board
Thread, Pins, Wonder Clips
Sewing Machine in good working order as well as knowledge of your machine
Basic Direction and Cutting Prior to Class:
Please Cut and Label all fabrics for your quilt before attending class. A breakdown of pre-cutting is found on Page 1 for the 69”x90” and Page 15 for the 55”x67”
Do not cut “Subsequent cuts” for the V-Block or Spilt Rect fabrics. You will be learning how to use this tool and cutting the strips in class.
